Death has occurred of Alhaji Ahmad Musa Nasidi, the Turaki of Lokoja and Hakimin of Lokoja Ward D.
Maiuguwa, as he is popular known, aged 78, died at Federal Medical Centre Lokoja after a brief illness on Tuesday.
A statement by Alhaji Musa Tanimu Nasidi, the Hakimi’s secretary, said the deceased left behind two wives, ten children and many grandchildren.
Late Ahmad Nasidi succeeded his late father, Alhaji Musa Nasidi, who died in December 1992.
Among the first callers at the deceased resident was the former Administrator of Lokoja Local Government Area, Hon. Shiru Lawal.
In his condolence message, Shiru described the deceased as a honest and seasoned administrator.
“On behalf of myself and my entire family, I wish to extend our condolence to the family of the deceased, HRH the Maigari of Lokoja, Alhaji Muhammad Kabir Maikarfi III and the entire people of Ward D over the death of the Alhaji Ahmad Musa Nasidi,” he said.
He described the death of Maiuguwa Nasidi as a great loss to the state, his family and Lokoja Traditional Title Holders Council.
