Tulip Int’l College: Okene-born Hibatullahi Emerge Best Student in JAMB, Honoured With Award

A Kogi-born student of the Nigerian Turkish International College, now Tulip International College, Miss Hibatullahi Bello Suleiman, has been honoured award of excellence for standing out with highest scores in the 2021 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

Miss Hibatullahi, who hails from Okene local government, emerged as the overall best student in JAMB in co-education of Nigerian Turkish International College for 2021 and was honoured with an award of excellence by the college.

Recall that the 2021 JAMB examination witnessed an unprecedented mass failure in the history of the examination.

The mass failure across the country saw JAMB lowering cut-off marks for admission into the nation’s tertiary institutions.

Miss Hibatullahi, a science student of the Nigerian Turkish International College, scored 277 in the examination, thus making her the highest out of a total number of 62 students that sat for JAMB from the college.

The Nigerian Turkish International college highest score student has her family house located in Lafiya Obessa, is to proceed to study Chemical engineering in the University this year.

Making the presentation of the award of Excellence of the Nigerian Turkish International college to Miss Hibatullahi, Kamil Ture, described her as an amazing star who, in spite the poor performance in the 2021 JAMB, distinguished herself through dint of hard work and brilliance.

Mr. Kamil who described Miss Hibatullahi as not only a pride to Kogi State but Nigeria, wished her well in her future academic endeavors.

Speaking after receiving the award of excellence from the Institution, Miss Hibatullahi, dedicated the feat to Almighty God and to the people of Kogi State.

said the result is a product of hardwork, study and the zeal to excel.

Speaking with newsmen, Hajiya Habiba Umar Bello, mother of the JAMB hero, could not hide her jo. She thanked God for the feat achieved by her daughter, expressing her appreciation to God and the College for making her daughter outstanding in the examination.
