Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Security in charge of Yagba East local government, Hon Abdulwakil Olorunjuwon Sule has described the tribunal judgement affirming the election of Governor Yahyaa Bello as “God ordained”.
In a statement issued in Isanlu on Saturday, Sule congratulated Governor Bello on his victory and called on the people of the state to join hands with him to move the state forward.
The council boss said that the outcome of cases at the election petition tribunal has clearly shown that the hands of God is on Governor Bello and asserted that “no mortal can fight the hands of God”.
He noted that only God can ordain and install a leader, urging all aggrieved persons and parties to wait for their time, rather than engaging in “frivolous litigation that might stand as impediments to the growth and development of Kogi state”.
“Looking at the emergence of his Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello in 2016, one would know that the uncommon hands of God, the giver of power, is solidly behind the Governor,” he said.
