The Edo community in Kogi state has congratulated the state governor, Yahaya Bello over his victory at the tribunal.
The community also appealed to those aggrieved by the outcome of the election to see the governor’s victory as an act of God and embrace peace.
President of the Edo community in Lokoja, Alex Odiase said the victory of the governor should be seen as a further prove of God’s supremacy who give power to whom he desired.
Odiase said the people of the state should join hands with the governor to make his administration a success, “We urged the people of the state to see Governor Bello’s victory at the tribunal as a continuous reaffirmation of ‘divine’ mandate. We enjoined all and sundry to continuously support him.
“This victory of the Governor is not just a victory for him alone, but a victory to all the people of the state who have been desirous of a rapid development in all strata of the society.”
He also enjoyed his opponents to allow the governor to settled down and avoid all the distraction by accepting the olive branch the governor extended to them in the over all interest of the state.
Odiase also enjoyed the Governor’s wife, Hajia Rashida Bello to continue in the right direction by giving succour to the, orphans, less privileged, children and women who have been beneficiary of her pet projects in recent time.
