…says his victory is victory for Ofu.

It is with joy and utmost delight that I received the news and subsequent confirmation of Hon Friday Alih’s victory at the Kogi state election petitions tribunal sitting which in a unanimous judgment upheld his election as the validly elected member representing Ofu constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly.

According to Aristotle-“Friends are an aid to the young, to guard them from error; to the elderly, to attend to their wants and to supplement their failing power of action; to those in the prime of life, to assist them to noble deeds”. As I as this definition of friendship is what Hon Dr Friday Alih has turned himself to. Therefore, his victory is no doubt a victory for all.

While his political coast will be at the moment thrown into jubilation and jolly, I make bold to say it is normal but the already performing honorable should reflect on why God sustained this mandated to keep up the good works he is already doing. Moreover, history is not just made in a day but occurs serially by day. Hence, his present actions are very significant in the documentation of his chronicles.

By and large, the panel was a team of highly reputable jurist whom have unanimously upheld the election and by extension done what is most right. It is therefore pertinent for all parties involved to close ranks and join hands with Hon Friday Alih in making Ofu great. He is on course during the time under review and delivering dividends to the people is a task he shouldn’t be further distracted from.

Finally, on behalf of my self and all lovers of socioeconomic development which the court “victor” has exemplified himself to, I wish to profoundly congratulate the good people of Ofu local government for this landslide preservation. The victory is yours and not the doc; May God be praised!

God Bless Ofu LGA

God Bless Kogi State Of Nigeria
