The Kogi State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Atuluku Levi, has praised Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo’s administration for its commitment to improving infrastructure in the state.

Hon Atuluku during an inspection visit to the ongoing Abejukolo township roads rehabilitation project in Omala Local Government Area today, described the development as an evidence of the Governor’s presence in all the the three Senatorial Districts of the State.

“This road rehabilitation project is another evidence of Governor Ododo’s presence in Omala and the entire Kogi East Senatorial District,” Hon. Atuluku Levi said. “For years, the Abejukolo township roads have been in a deplorable state, but today, the rehabilitation work is a reality. The asphalt overlay, which is the final stage of the project, is a clear indication that Governor Ododo has matched his words with actions.”

The Commissioner commended the Governor’s commitment to the development of Omala LGA and the entire state, noting that the administration’s efforts are not limited to road construction alone. “We are not just talking about roads; we are talking about the overall development of the state. Governor Ododo’s administration is committed to ensuring the security of lives and properties, and this is evident in the construction of the military forward base of the Nigerian Army in Omala LGA.”

Hon. Atuluku Levi also highlighted other projects being undertaken by the Governor’s administration, including the rehabilitation of the Abejukolo water board. “In a few days, we will witness the completion of the township roads and the commencement of work on the water works, which will provide clean water for the people of Abejukolo.”

The Commissioner expressed gratitude to God for the leadership of Governor Ododo, saying, “What Governor Ododo is doing is what governance is all about. This is what politics is all about – for the people to feel the impact of politics of good governance.”

Given these achievements, it’s clear that Governor Ododo’s leadership has brought about positive change in Kogi State. As the state continues to grow and develop, the call for continuity in 2027 becomes increasingly relevant.
