Kogi State is on a threshold of a new renaissance, aimed at unfolding the transformation agenda of Capt. Idris Wada.
Yomi Awoniyi, State Deputy Governor stated this when Management of the Nigeria Television Authority, Lokoja, paid him sympathy and condolence visit on the recent auto crash involving the State Governor, Capt. Idris Wada an accident that claimed the life of his ADC, Mohammed Idris.
Awoniyi, expressed joy at the speedy recovery rate of Capt. Idris Wada also praised God for the Governor’s simple disposition to life.
People of the State Awoniyi, explained are eager to have the Governor return soon, to continue his transformation agenda, praised the professionalism displayed by the Nigerian Medical Doctors in ensuring that the State Governor recovers speedily.
Awoniyi, promised the State Government support to the family of the late ADC, assuring that he will not be forgotten.
The Deputy Governor thanked the Nigeria Television Authority for their support to adequate coverage of Capt. Idris Wada’s administration,solicited same in the new year.
Earlier in his speech, Abubakar Kaoje, General Manager, Nigeria Television Authority, NTA Lokoja, said the visit was to associate with the State Government in its moments of grief, prayed God to grant eternal rest to the soul of the late ADC, describing him as a patriotic Police Officer who should be emulated.
