Dr. Toyosi Akure (BAO) has become a popular name in the lips of Yagba residents following his philanthropist gesture and empowerment programs to ensure every son and daughter of the area are not wallowing in poverty or struggling to meet ends need.
Despite his busy schedules, Toyosi always makes himself available and never runs away from his people which makes him understand their needs and wants.
Through his Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Toyosi has touched the lives of many women, youths, children, students, and People with Disabilities (PWD) among others.
Toyosi has supported Yagba women through financial gifts to boost their small scale businesses, awarded scholarships for students to any educational level of their choice as well as empowering people with disabilities with technical and entrepreneurship skills.
Most communities in Yagba also benefited from his infrastructure programs like provision of borehole, solar lights, and free medical outreaches which saw over 1000 people benefited from the eye test and treatment in March 2025.
The North Carolina based philanthropist also organized a football tournament to foster unity among Yagba youths. This created more bonding and friendship among youth in the area.
He listens to his people’s yearnings and act fast to bridge the gap between rich and poor in Yagba land. He never complained; rather he acts fast to ameliorate the economic hardship tormenting his people.
BAO just want to see his people smiling which shows his level of patriotism and love for his people. Toyosi Akure is not just a name in Yagba land, He stands for love and hope that is worth celebrating and acknowledging, consequent to his philanthropist gesture.
Yagba in the past, has produced philanthropist-like minds but Toyosi Akure has carved his name in gold and deserved a special statue in the heart of the people.
Dr Toyosi has signified interest to run in 2027 Election into Yagba West Constituency of the Kogi State House of Assembly. Is there any one who deserves the crown better than him? The answer is simply; it’s a capital No.
The cap fits Toyosi Akure more than anyone else. He is simply the Man for the job and this is non-negotiable.
