Titus Alonge: A Giant in the Civic Space Has Fallen

Also known as Baba Agbalagba of TEDIN (Teens Educational Development and Information Initiative Nigeria), and Co-chair 2 of Kogi State Stakeholders Consultative Forum on Aging, an affiliate of the National Senior Citizens Center, was a dedicated advocate for child rights and education in Kogi State, Nigeria.

He’s the President and CEO of TEDIN and has been actively involved in promoting child and older persons rights, education, and health initiatives.

Titus Alonge has been working with various stakeholders to promote the implementation of the Child Rights Law in Kogi State, which was domesticated in 2009 and also in areas of care and support for the aged.

As the head of TEDIN, Titus Alonge focused on educational development and information initiatives for teenagers and young people.

Titus Alonge was a respected figure in Kogi State, known for his efforts to improve the lives of older persons, children, men, women, and communities.

So sad a giant oak tree has fallen. Rest well, Baba Agbalagba (Mr. Titus Alonge). Your selfless service, tireless advocacy, and dedication to community development will leave a lasting impact.

Your legacy will continue to inspire and uplift the lives of many, especially the vulnerable and marginalized. Farewell, dear Titus, may your soul rest in peace.
