Titilayo Fanwo Empowerment Foundation has announced names of winners in its 2018 essay competitions for students in tertiary institutions and secondary schools in Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, Wednesday, the spokesperson of the Foundation, Babatunde Fanwo said
prizes will be presented to winners in Takete Ide on 2nd September, 2018 being the 3rd Anniversary of the late Mrs Titilayo Fanwo.
Adegboyega Tosin emerged overall winner in the tertiary institutions category with 69 points. He was closely followed by Ogbondeminu Johnson Bamidele who garnered 63 points to come second. Adetayo Tolulope Oyinoza came third with 60 points.
In the secondary school category, Siseku Esther Ayomide garnered 68 point to emerge winner. Olumuyiwa deola Eyiwumi and Ernest Christianah Roseline emerge second and third respectively.
Fanwo congratulated the winners and encouraged all to try again next year as the essay competition is aimed at rewarding academic excellence.
