Three serving members of the House of Representatives from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State have lost their bids to secure return tickets during Saturday’s primary election in the state.
The defeated lawmakers are Muhammed Sadiq, representing Ajaokuta; Tom Zakari, who represents Basa/Dekina and Sumaila Inna Hussain, representing Idah/Igalamela/ Ibaji/Ofu federal constituencies.
Those that returned were Tajudeen Yusuf, representing Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu; Sunday Karimi, for Yagba and Tijjani Damisa, representing Okene federal constituencies. The election remained inconclusive in Ankpa/Omala and Adavi/Okehi federal constituencies, while it could not hold in Lokoja/Koto Federal Constituency due to a court injunction.
