1. The Okun Development Association visited the state Governor. The outcome of the parley would lead to the approval of the Paramount ruler of the Okun Land, The Obaro of Kabba in Kogi West Senatorial district of the state. Of course, in the coming days or weeks.

(ii) Salary payment also tops as one of the frontal agenda. It has become a consultative demand, and the Governor had set up a committee with Labour Leaders more than a month to come up Soyuz homegrown-labour-solution mechanism to offset ALL backlogs of salaries owed. Currently, the momentum is ripe for the efforts. I strongly believe this one would work.

2. The burning of Two Class Rooms in the block of class rooms in Senator Dino Melaye’s Senatorial district by unknown hoodlums. It is wanton wickedness when you look at the angle of Development and what it serves the society.

On another hang, regardless of what you think, I am always on slippery slope when it has to do with Dino Melaye. That man has inconsistent track record of forthrightness.

If you have read the Art of War or The Prince by Niccolo, you would understand that for some politicians, all routes are fair. I cannot for sure, honestly, point fingers at anyone, but the antecedent of Dino with the media is something that leaves a lot of doubt. He is a dirty politician. He likes drama. He can do anything to put those he is at war with in trouble. I saw that man jumping off a moving vehicle and threatening to kill himself to put others in trouble. I saw him threatening a female senator in the NASS that he would rape her openly. I have seen him stage his own assassination cries many times. I don’t just know why I am suspecting that many persons should be careful with his antics.

Except anyone has any proof as to who has done this, it is a slippery slope. Politicians on both ends are not to be vouched for. It it my opinion. Let me ask you a question, as this has happened, who are those your mind ring to suspect? Oh yeah, I thought so too. But what is the proof? Why do you also think that someone is not playing the card to make you think that way because media is propaganda. Politics is propaganda. Every time I remember the notion of Conflict in War and the beneficiaries, I always ask myself: “who is to gain”? In that vandalism, who is to gain sympathy? Remove your sentiments. Make honest judgement, who is to gain? The rest is left for you and your conscience.

3. Hon. Paul Gowon Haruna, AkA, IJN, is a big wig Politician in Kogi State who doubles as a business mogul.

Let me tell you what I find interesting about IJN. He is amongst the league of politicians who have benefited from Kogi state and given back to it in quantum sense. IJN has many business enterprises in Kogi state. He is different from those who looted our common yams and exporting it to Abuja, Lagos and other states without any retainership to Kogi economy. He is employing labour. I mean, many people are under his payroll. He has been consistent with that.

Politically, let us assemble the political mileage of Yahaya Bello in short terms. You know, politics is about planning, if you need to also improve democracy and reduce violence, you need to understand your chess game.

See some names:

1. Dr. Jibrin Isah Echocho

2. Hajia Salamatu Baiwa

3. Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims

4. Paul Gowon Haruna, IJN.

5. Barr. Natasha Akpoti

What is the take home? Political Masterstroke. If you understand what the honoring of M.K.O did to the Yorubas, you would understand the masterstroke of this decision to accommodate these big wigs.

Governance is large, it is complex, it requires adequate planning, what would they bring to the table?

There you have it.
