The political machinations unfolding in the Nigerian Senate have once again exposed the depth of institutionalized impunity and the lengths to which certain actors will go to preserve their grip on power. At the center of this unfolding drama is Senate President Godswill Akpabio, a man whose moral and ethical standing is already under intense scrutiny. His latest maneuver in a desperate ploy to silence Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan through orchestrated suspension stands as a clear evidence to the toxic power dynamics that continue to plague governance in Nigeria.

Reliable intelligence reveals that a well-coordinated scheme has been set in motion, aimed at first “clearing” Akpabio of allegations of sexual harassment before delivering a decisive and unjust blow against Senator Natasha. This calculated move is designed to create a façade of procedural righteousness while ensuring that Senator Natasha remains indefinitely suspended, effectively neutralizing her voice for the remainder of her tenure.

A Predictable Yet Doomed Strategy

According to inside sources, the plan involves Akpabio temporarily stepping aside under the guise of facing an inquiry by the Senate Committee on Ethics, Privileges, and Public Petitions, chaired by Senator Neda Imasuen. This committee, already compromised by political interests, is expected to issue a predictable verdict of Akpabio’s “innocence,” paving the way for the indefinite suspension of Senator Natasha, a blatant act of political suppression. The goal? To erase her presence from the legislative process until 2027.

But what Akpabio and his co-conspirators fail to recognize is that they are up against a force far greater than they anticipate. Across Nigeria and beyond, a growing coalition of aggrieved women and “justice-driven” individuals is mobilizing, determined to ensure that his dirty, shady, murky past and present dealings come under intense global scrutiny. The days of unchecked political strong-arming are fast coming to an end. Even aggrived school girls and sidechics are ready to submit helpful and useful information and evidences, just like it was silently done in the time of the DG, SON, Dr. John Ndanusa Akanya and the DG, DSS A Z Gadzama and their Lagos Director of State Security Services, Audu Ibrahim Verses Dr. Sandra C Duru over 16 years ago and silently they were given a soft landing to resign, retire and eventually sacked and replaced without all the drama!

A Blatant Disregard for Judicial Authority

This latest scheme unfolds despite an existing court order explicitly restraining the Senate from taking disciplinary action against Senator Natasha. Justice Obiora Egwuatu’s ruling in Suit No: FHC/ABJ/CS/384/2025 left no room for ambiguity: any action taken against her while the suit is pending is null and void. Yet, in characteristic defiance of legal norms, the Senate proceeded to not only suspend her but also seal her office and confiscate Senate property under her possession.

Such blatant disregard for judicial authority raises a fundamental question: if those entrusted with upholding the law operate with such impunity, what moral ground remains for governing the nation? It’s a shame!!!

The Road Ahead: Strategic Resistance

I have always maintained that I do not engage in empty noise or reactionary outrage. ALL my battles are fought with precision, strategy, and undying resolve. To my fellow concerned and aggrieved women, now is not the time for passive lamentation! It is a time for calculated action. The attempts to silence our dear sister, Senator Natasha are not just an attack on her; they are an attack on every woman who dares to challenge the status quo. I have been there before and i can imagine how pain at this time.

For those who find themselves on the wrong side of history, be forewarned: there are no shadows deep enough to conceal the truth. Akpabio and his cohorts may believe that their plots are infallible, but history has proven time and again that oppressive regimes, no matter how fortified, eventually crumble under the weight of their own corruption. Walaih! It is not negotiable!

Upon my return to my base, I will provide a more detailed response and outline the next course of action. Until then, let the strategic resistance continue.
