The 2019 general election is at the corner, a vibrate and astute Lokojan, Yaqub Zuberu’s emergence as the state party chairman of Sustainable National party S.N.P decided to display his patriotic wit of leadership of the party. Once the name ‘Idatsu’ is mention in the leadership circle, it rings bell as a house hold name in the political rendezvous in Lokoja local government and the state, because of his staunch political ideology and believe in fairness in it’s full sense.
No doubt, the future of Kogi state is indeed pregnant with good omen, smells of better leadership as against the backdrop of many corrupt leaders we had, subjecting the state into a stage and level of retrogressive cycle of degradation.
A young and dynamic Politician has emerged in Kogi state who is the state party chairman for the Sustainable National Party S.N.P hails from Ward E in Lokoja local government area of the state, whose political vibrancy and keen love of humanity had pushed him to the task of chairman under the S.N.P, record has shown that Yaqub Zubairu who is popularly known as “Idatsu” has an indelible records of great achievements in his credit.
As days came bye, Young Zubairu has fully became a symbol of Youths representative, over seeing the Youth affairs of ANPP the then Strong political Party in the country at the Local Government level.
In Lokoja, if you talk of the few politician who have been in opposition until 2015 permit me to still say Yaqub Zuberu has been a politician with the spirit of opposition to checkmate the then ruling party (PDP) in the defunct ANPP, CPC now to APC.
He remained an erudite politician to the extent, he was appointed the youth leader, under ANPP and he took the party to the People of Lokoja, and engineered the process of bringing into the APC. These efforts have earned the APC the status in Lokoja and Kogi State as; ‘The Ruling Party’. To cap it all, he was instrumental as a stakeholder
Like the Young eaglets,flying high as she grows and soaring to higher skies with vision to dare good opportunity in order to be a leading birth, His good style of leadership catapulted him to be a stakeholder in the congress for progressive change (CPC) in Lokoja.
Knowing his wherewithal abilities respectively with records of achievement zuberu grow to involve in political activism seeing his sense of honesty, doggedness, hardworking and his good sense of political judgments,when party is facing a lots of trial issues,his capacity is never undermine, Zubairu generally refer to the face of Youths, with the coming of APC on board he was quickly spotted and seen as a stakeholder that will supervise the 5 wards across Lokoja local government.
Zuberu is now the main arrow head man who is working hard to win and bring all the candidates aspiring for various position under the platform of Sustainable National party SNP in kogi state. Many believe he has no threats of failure in him in whoever he wants to support as a political leader.
This is not because of anything else but his natural abilities of coercing and building up good political structures and will to any government that is a part to it. Zuberu knows the political triggers, he connects the connectables and absorbes the shocks for any government he agreed to work it. One of the pertinent wisdom is his relationship with politicians in the State, he relate well with all people to the benefit of the State and the political Party of his choice. Zuberu is a man that’s said of him has much of leadership abilities. According to one Farouk who say that any government that will succeed in kogi state must involve Yaqub zuberu, most especially if the person need a blog votes of Lokoja local government. All because he has extended political roots to various wards and polling unit.
Farouq further revealed that late Hon Buba have adjudged Zuberu to be a man with high level of integrity, an attitude that nurtured him to political lime light,building his life on trust as a strong political stalwart in the state.
As destiny and fate beckons he is now the state Chairman of Sustainable National Party (SNP) kogi state where he will be supporting and work assiduously with other party officials to organized and kick start campaigns.
On a recent interviews, many have adjudged that Zuberu is Luxuriate, taken pleasure in doing good to people no matter the pains. He will never want to be Lugubrious as looking and being friendly to people is his nature.
Many considered politicians as opportunist, legerdemains people, full with all forms of deception and trickery, but Zuberu is one of his kind who hates being bad in all it’s sense. But in deed his largesse generous acts of giving gifting certified him to be a man with philanthropic life style that can never be out of him.
