I have been disturbed by the shameless parade of Daniel Gbenga Melaye as the APC Senatorial candidate for Kogi West. To many who had been carried away by the roforofo fight for the soul of Kogi West, it is a massive misnomer for an anti-corruption crusader to be enmeshed in an inglorious rape on democracy.
The people of Kogi West do not deserve a discredited serial liar and democracy rapist who has circumvented due process in getting the ticket of a party which preaches change.
We are not unaware of the grand deception of Daniel Melaye and his co-dreamers who are playing the script of the ruling party. As far as we are concerned, Dino’s ambition is an extension of the scheming of the slave masters to award an unfair third term to Smart Adeyemi. We can’t be boxed to such a lazy corner anymore.
We hereby salute the patriots who have approached the courts to challenge the unconstitutional emergence of Dino Melaye, Engr Adegbayo and Abayomi Obaro who didn’t go through constitutional processes in emerging as candidates for elections. In as much as we know nothing about the court cases, we lend our voices to the heroes and heroines of our democracy.
In the eye of the law, the perpetrators of the electoral fraud are not candidates for the forthcoming elections.
We hold a massive dream the desired change will come to Kogi West next month.
