On behalf of the entire Kogi Let the Truth be Told Initiative (TBTI), I, Comrade Joseph Nicodemus M., the chief admin to TBTI extend our warmest congratulations to Major General Waidi Shaibu on his appointment as the new Chief of Army Staff by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
This appointment came at the right time, it’s also a testament to Major General Shaibu’s exceptional leadership qualities, professionalism, and dedication to the Nigerian Army over several years in service. From the information made available, he has earned numerous honors and awards for his meritorious service in various fields of operations within the country.
We learnt that As a seasoned military officer, Major General Shaibu has held several key positions, to mention but few, Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, Commander of 7 Division in Maiduguri, and Director of Training at the Army Headquarters Department of Training in Abuja. His leadership style is characterized by operational precision, community-focused approach, and results-oriented command.
More to it, Under his command as Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai, the Nigerian Army neutralized over 567 terrorists, recovered substantial caches of arms, and oversaw the surrender of more than 121,000 insurgents and their families.
We are confident that Major General Shaibu’s wealth of experience, strategic thinking, and leadership skills will enable him to tackle the complex security challenges facing our nation. We pledge our unending support to him as he assumes this new role and assure him that he can count on our loyalty and prayers.
We also commend President Tinubu for his bold decision in appointing Major General Waidi Shaibu as the new Chief of Army Staff. We believe that this appointment will further strengthen the Nigerian Army and enhance national security. We also use this avenue to remind him, to do everything possible to ensure he use his good office to bring insecurities to zero level in kogi state and boarders sorrounded kogi state which have being suffer in the hands of kidnappers and frequent bandits activities and attacks.
Once more , we congratulate Major General Waidi Shaibu on his appointment and wish him success, good health, and divine guidance as he embarks on this new journey, and please remember to use your good office to teach vibrant Nigeria how to fish and not giving them fish, you should know what I mean sir.
