TBHI Donates Neonatal Items to Kogi Hospital

Neonatal items worth thousands of naira have been donated to the neonatal ward of the Specialist Hospital, Lokoja.
Presenting the items yesterday in Lokoja, the Founder of Tiny Beating Hearts Initiative (TBHI), Mrs. Petra Akinti Onyegbule said the items were to be used strictly for premature babies.
Mrs. Onyegbule maintained that premature babies come with lots of demands that drain parents financially.
According to her, the gesture will go a long way in meeting the needs of some premature babies stressing that her NGO will continue to champion and show support for them.
Mrs. Onyegbule who doubles as the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said her NGO will soon launch her advocacy project saying it has in the last few weeks embarked on advocacy visits to various ministries and parastatals to seek their participation.
Speaking, Mrs. Agnes Olaoye who received the items on behalf of the matron of the ward expressed appreciation to TBHI team for the gesture and assured that the items will be judiciously used for the purpose intended.
The items donated are five packs of twenty four cannula, three packs of five mill syringes, a dozen of two hundred mill bottles of methylated spirit, a pack of adhesive plaster and others.
