The people of Takate/Otafun in Ward 7 of Mopamuro local government area have applauded the staff members of Kogi State Health Insurance Agency for their commitment in the recent biometric enrolment of the vulnerable persons in the area.
Three of the members of the community who were enrolled among others were Bakare Sarah, Ogbodeminu Paul Monday and Temilehin Faith. They all said the biometric enrolment was hitch free.
The trio thanked Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for establishing the Kogi state health insurance agency saying the basic health care provision fund and Bello care for the vulnerable would have eluded them were it not for the establishment of the agency.

The biometric enrolment of the vulnerable persons were also carried out in other wards of the Local Government Area. The exercise is to ensure that the vulnerable persons are given free treatment for the year through the basic health care provision fund.
While monitoring the exercise in Mopamuro local government area the executive secretary of the agency, Dr Adekunle Aledare expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the vulnerable persons for the biometric data capturing.
Dr Aledare thanked the health workers in the community, youth leaders, traditional rulers who contributed in no small measure to the success of the exercise.
He urged the remaining vulnerable persons in other local government areas to possses the National Identity number as it is a prerequisite for the enrolment.
In her remark, the leader of the team for the biometric enrollment who is also an indigene of the area, Dr Yetunde Oyeyemi thanked God for his mercies throughout the exercise.
He also expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the vulnerable persons for the enrolment in the local government area.
