The Military Command in Kogi State have restated its commitment to ensuring peace and security of the people.
The Commander, Army Records, Charimegumeri Barracks, Lokoja, Brigadier General Henry Ayamasaowei gave the assurance when he received in audience theState Executive of Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, who were in his office to commend the military for its prowess in Sambisa forest and to intimate the command of the objectives of the Association.
Brig Gen. Ayamasaowei, said the military will give it all to to ensuring a peaceful kogi state, promised not to rest on its oars.
While noting that the Command worked round the clock in ensuring a peaceful Christmas celebration across the state, said it is scaling up its activities towards a successful new celebration.
While he said no development can be recorded in an atmosphere of insecurity, commended members of the Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria for operating in the state urged them to make integrity their watchword.
In a remarks at the visit, Chief Tony Ologun, Chairman of Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria, said the were in the command to congratulate the military on its taking over of the dreaded Sambisa forest, and other achievements made by the military in its fight against insurgency and terrorism in the North Eastern part of the country.
Chief Ologun, said the Association of Estate Agents in Nigeria, kogi state chapter, is committed to ensuring that activities in the property development and estate market is carried out with integrity, called for a working partnership between the Association and the military command.
