Tafida of Budon Appointed Patron of Lokoja Women Association

The Lokoja Women Association popularly known as ‘Allah Naso’ has appointed Alhaji Abdulrahman, the Tafida of Budon as patron of the association.

His appointment was contained in a letter personally addressed to him dated, January 3, 2019 and signed by the President of the association, Hajia Fatima Marka Abbas.  

The statement explained that Tafida’s appointment was due to his regular support, involvement and overwhelming commitment to the association.

Hajia Marka made the conferment during the maulud Nabiy celebration organized by the association as part of her activities in Kabawa, Lokoja.

Tafida thanked the association for the honour done to him. He tasked them to come up with an improved method of uniting each other. 

Earlier, the chairman of the occasion, Hon Muhammad Kassim Mabo thanked Hajia Marka for her continuous support and encouragement to the women.

The program was attended by dignitaries across Lokoja among others were Hon Suleiman Babadoko, Hon Queenbeebat Aliyu, Hajia Fatima Shiru, Justice MM. Bello of the Sharia Court of Appeal, Chief Imam of Isa Kutepa central mosque Lokoja, Imam Abubilat, Hon Justice Suleiman Bala, Khadi sharia court of appeal and Lokoja traditional title holders
