Sustain Lessons of Holy Month, Ijumu LGA Caretaker Chairman Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el Fitr, Solicits Support for Gov Ododo

The Transition Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna (DSTV) has called on the Muslim ummah to sustain the lessons of the holy month and replicate them in their daily lives for the good of the society.

In a sallah message on Wednesday, the Chairman felicitated the Muslim Ummah in the Ijumu, Kogi State and Nigeria in general, as they join the world in celebrating the Eid-el-fitr celebration, a festival that commemorate the end of the Ramadan Fast.

“The same way we all remembered the less privileged and those afflicted by poverty during Ramadan, I implore us to carry over these attributes beyond Ramadan,” the Caretaker Chairman said.

Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna urged the traditional rulers, religious and community Leaders in the state to sustain the prevailing peace and security for the socio- economic development of the state, assuring them that the administration of Governor Usman Ododo remains committed to providing viable projects and programmes aimed at taking the state to greater heights of prosperity.

The Caretaker Chairman commended Muslims and the entire people of the state for their steadfastness in the midst of challenges, urging them not to despair but to remain hopeful as well as continue to support the administration of Governor Ododo in its efforts to guarantee security, well-being and prosperity of the state.

He, therefore, wished Ijumu LGA, Kogi State in particular and Nigeria in general a pleasant celebration.
