Two naval officers, on Thursday, were shot dead by suspected bandits operating along Lokoja-Okene road.
This is coming barely six days after an army Captain was killed on the same road while his mother and wife were reportedly kidnapped.
Kogi state Police Commissioner, Ayuba Ede Ekpeji confirmed the incident.
“I heard about it and I have dispatched my men there to bring me the details of how and when it happened,” he said.
The officers, a male and female, were traveling in a Toyota sienna bus when they were stopped and the gunmen who opened fire killing them on the spot.
