National woman leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajia Salamatu Baiwa Umar-Eluma has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari and the party over the the Supreme Court ruling that affirmed the party’s victory at the February polls.
She said the affirmation the decision of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) by the apex court shows the acceptance of the President’s second term to take the country to another level.
Baiwa reassured Nigerians of the President’s new zeal to transform all facets of our national life. She called for the cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure the President take the country to greater heights.
She commended President Buhari for overcoming the distraction of the main opposition party, the PDP, throughout the period of litigation that lasted for months.
She said despite the obvious distraction, the President kept his pact with Nigerians for not allowing the situation to affect pressing state matters and international engagements.
The women leader enjoined all Nigerians to cooperate with the President and the APC led administration.
