The administrator Ijumu local government and Chairman Association of Local governments of Nigeria, ALGON, Kogi state, Honourable Taufiq Isa has directed all political appointees in Ijumu local government and Alhaji Taufiq Solidarity Groups to observe a one day fasting and prayer for the upcoming judgment of the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alh.Yahaya Bello in the supreme
court.
In a press release signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Othman Hamidu, the administrator stressed the need for all to support the Governor in prayers for the New Direction Agenda to continue “as we await final judgment which 80% success has been achieved in both the Tribunal and Appeal court.
The Kogi ALGON boss bemoaned the spate at which Duro Meseko and his pay masters are trying to make issues out of nothing, adding that lies and mischief by the Faleke group are temporary antics in politics, describing the recent outburst from the opposition within the APC in Kogi state as acting the script of their paymasters.
“I want to say unequivocally that Governor Yahaya Bello will pass through the eyes of the needle, and provide the needed dividends of democracy to the people and turn around the fortune of Kogi state to a better place to live. I also want to reassure the peace loving people of Kogi not to be dissuaded from the high level of mischief by the enemies of power shift in the state”.
