Premier League side, Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure yesterday defeated Kogi United 3-0 in an epic encounter.
The Fatai Osho led boys lost to Sunshine Stars in their final pre-season game in Ijebu-Ode. The defeat puts an end to Kogi United’s unbeaten run.
The three goals came in the dying minutes of the second half of the match as Kogi United lost concentration of the game.
The team will finally wrap their training trip with a friendly match against Ekiti United FC, Ekiti State on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.
