The Secretary of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Hon. Alhassan Salisu Adakeke, has felicitated with the immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, on the occasion of his 50th birthday.
In a statement personally signed by him on Wednesday, Adakeke described the former governor as “a trailblazer, a mentor, and a visionary leader who has contributed immensely to the development of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.”
He said, “Assalamualaikum Your Excellency. We say a heartfelt Happy 50th Anniversary. You are a special gift to Kogi State and to the Nigerian nation.”*
Adakeke extolled Bello’s leadership qualities, emphasizing his role in shaping young leaders and fostering inclusive governance.
“Your Excellency, FGYB, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, CON—we are proud to be associated with your unparalleled and indelible achievements. Your tenure as governor laid a strong foundation in education, security, and youth empowerment,”he noted.
He also praised Bello’s mentorship legacy, saying, “As a leader who has impacted countless lives positively, your reward lies both in this world and in the hereafter, Insha Allah. Your legacy will continue to inspire generations.”

On behalf of his family and the people of Bassa Local Government Area, Adakeke extended his warm wishes, stating:
