A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and House of Representatives aspirant in Yagba Federal Constituency, Gen. Benjamin Ipinyomi (Rtd) has described the election of Engr. Aliyu Momoh Ezzu as the new Kogi State Chairman of APC as a recognition of loyalty and an assurance that the ruling party will cruise to victory in 2027.
Gen. Ipinyomi, in a statement made available by his media office, said Engr. Momoh’s election is a clear reflection of the confidence and trust party faithful across Kogi state have reposed in his leadership capacity, experience, and commitment to the ideals of APC.
The statement reads “This victory is not only personal but a collective triumph for all who believe in unity, progress, and purposeful leadership.
“As you assume this important responsibility, I am confident that your tenure will foster cohesion within the party, strengthen grassroots mobilization, and position the APC for greater success in future political engagements. May your leadership be guided by wisdom, fairness, courage, and a deep sense of service.
“I also congratulate the entire State Executive Committee on their emergence. May you all work together in harmony to advance the vision and objectives of our great party. Once again, congratulations, Mr. Chairman. I wish you a successful and impactful tenure”.
