SOS to Accountant General: Flaws in 2013/2014 Retirees’ Pension Computation
I am Honourable Elesho Joseph Abiodun, from Yagba East in Kogi state. I wish to use this platform to make our demands known to the government of Kogi State.
We the retirees of 2013 and 2014 retired with 60% minimum wage. This is because teachers of SUBEB were paid 60% minimum wage up till now.
Now that there is a directive to pay the teachers the 40% balance, those of us that retired with that 60% have our pension computed with 60%. Now we are hooked!
We have no one to cry to. Funny enough, those that retired in 2015 have their pension calculated in 100% minimum wage, why cheating these 2 years of 2013 and 2014?
