The Executive Director of Conscience for Human Rights and Conflicts Resolution (CHRCR), Comrade Idris Miliki Abdul, has commended the member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Idris Salman for his modest achievements in office.
In a statement issued in Lokoja on Friday, Comrade Miliki said the lawmaker has been consistent in engagement and lawmaking process.
“Congratulations to Arc Salman Idris. I believe it has been a rewarding experience despite challenges of being in a new areas of politics, and a difficult terrain as you are half through in your first term as a member of the House of Representatives.
“So far so good. We are not disappointed in your representation. Of course in life and in every human institution and endeavor, there will be always areas of improvement,” he said.
Comrade Miliki urged the lawmaker to work on setting up a constituency office and engage more in regular constituency briefing.
He also tasked Hon Salman on improved, strategic communication, through publication and documentations of his activities.
“As you commence the second leg of your first term, we wish you a more successful outing. We shall be glad to witness more Bills and impactive motions,” he added.
