The BEBM Exhibitions, the conveners of the annual Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibition in Lokoja, has been applauded for its sound initiative in hosting the event which was described as an all in one shop focusing on various critical issues that concern the built environment and capable of bringing together all practitioners in the industry in the State.
This commendations were made known during separate advocacy visits to the Small and Medium Enterprise Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), North Central Zonal Office and the Kogi State Investment and Property Limited to drum support for the 3rd edition of her exhibition coming up in October, 2017.
In their separate remarks, the Zonal Coordinator of SMEDAN, Charity Abah, who lamented the rate of unemployment amongst the youth, called on them to use events like this to key into positive ventures capable of empowering them economically. She assured the people of the readiness of her organization to continue to create awareness on the MSMEs potentials of Nigeria with a bid to empowering particularly the youths and women.
Evangelist Deborah Obadaki of Kogi Investment also tasked BEBM Exhibitions to use it expertise in attracting investors to the state particularly in the area of social Housing for civil servants particularly the grassroot housing.
Both organizations promised to partner towards making the exhibition a success.
While assuring them of a well packaged event, Engr. Oladipo Makakese Bayode, the Executive Director said his vision is to aggressively promote available Building Construction Industry services and products in the Built Environment and building-construction industry towards the housing for all initiative.
