Good day sir, Mr. opportunist governor,
You are ‘their’ governor because nobody voted for you. You are a political opportunist who turned out to be the greatest political miscarriage and disaster to our confluence state; a state of opportunity now drifting into a state of misplaced opportunityq and visionlessness under your watch.
I am so disappointed, angry this day because when I woke up in the morning, from my small village of Ikanekpo to other parts of the state, all I see is hunger, poverty, bad roads scattered everywhere, no portable pipe borne water to drink, the little streams and rivers that serve as source of water for people has been polluted by mining companies who you people collected kick backs from, a collapse educational system, trade and commerce at its collapsing state, ministries and government agencies running on zero cost, no salaries for workers, pensioners are dying, just to mention a few.
You met Kogi state state in a progressive state but in your common sense act of administrative wickedness and political rascality, you have successfully placed the state on an auto reverse socio-economic and political wise.
‘Their excellency’, upon all these myriad of problems confronting the state, all you could thing about is to take our money (federal allocation and internally generated revenue) to import arms and ammunition under the guise that you are buying bullet proof vest for the vigilante. My simple question is, who approved the undertaking of such projects? Is it the State House of Assembly or the state executive council or the usual white lion approach to approval of contracts in the state?
These were monies meant for payment of salaries and improving the socio-economic well-being of the people of the state but you decided to divert it into purchase of arms and ammunition in preparation for your re-election come 2020.
‘Their excellency’, this sounds funny to me because if you like import the whole of the arsenals from Russia, America and add that of north Korea, that will not make you to win next election. Your performance and actual works on ground will determine your fate.
Election are not won on the platter of thuggery and intimidation but via common sense democratic and civilized conviction of the people through performance while in office.
The simpe equation is, Performance before Election.
Using state money to import arms and ammunition while salaries are not been paid, ministries and departments running on zero monthly allocation, hunger and poverty on the geometrical increase is not the best decision to take or make at this point in time.
We pray that the Lord give you the desired administrative and socio-economic wisdom to govern our state.
