God does not lie or will he break his promise, heaven and earth may pass away but his promise and words will certainly be fulfil in his appointed time. The appointed time of the Almighty Allah is also known as the fullness of time. Because God has time for all his activities, his promises are also fulfilled according to time. When God promise to make his people great above all, and bless them with happiness and prosperity, he has already prepared a leader (Messiah) whom he will send to fulfil his promises. He knows that without good leadership, it will be impossible for his people to experience all these he has promised them.
His promises are fulfil in his own time no matter the pressure, it cannot come prematurely, or delayed, it comes in its own time to show the supremacy of God and his wisdom which is above man. When it was time for Prophet Isa (Jesus) and Musa (Moses), they are also Messiah who come to earth and save humanity, in spit all the temptations, intrigues, and power play by men who sort to destroy them prematurely, God protected them so that they could accomplish his mission of bringing salvation to men, set the captive free, and rescue those that were lost. Herod tried but could not succeed; even so the Herods of this local government will not succeed in frustrating the good plan of God.
To fulfil his promise of better live in Lokoja local government , God has unveiled his promised Messiah in the person of Hon Shiru Lawal who has come in the fullness of time to liberate and bring succour to the people of Lokoja local government. This is in fulfilment of God’s promise that in the fullness of time, he will send a leader unto his people who will come and liberate them from poverty, underdevelopment and all form of vices, and give them happiness through provision of human capital development and empowerment for all.
It takes creative, visionary, and proactive leadership to generate massive youths and women empowerment opportunities that will 80 per cent of the indigines which is one of the packages of Hon Shiru Lawal as an administrator. He gets sad seeing able men and women rooming the street without employment and wonder how they survive, that was why as an administrator, he always support any initiative aimed at creating employment opportunity, he will always insist that Lokoja person should first be considered in any opportunity he became aware of.
A good leader like Shiru have the passion, love, and interest of his people at heart, he believes in selfless service that is why he will never consider himself and his interest first but the interest of the people and how to satisfy them. This is what stands this ebullient young dynamic leader out in the crowd of seeker as the very best man to run the council area. Truly, Shiru has exemplified so many leadership qualities even in his day to day dealing and relationship with people.
In the banking sector where he came from, Shiru’s milk of kindness and generosity spilled everywhere which lots of people are testimonies. He has facilitate and help so many people from Lokoja to gain employment in the banking sector and extended same to other multinationals companies and conglomerates using his wide connection with friends and other business partners.
As a true Muslim with strong moral character, Shiru Lawal invested a lot in the propagation of Islam in many ways including his contributions in construction of a befitting mosque buildings, which people now have a comfortable place to worship God. As the Messiah, he has been able to give the son of man a place to lay his head.
