Chief administrator of Lokoja Local Government, Hon Shiru Lawal has congratulated the Magajin Gari of Lokoja, Khalifa Ibrahim Kenchi on the successful wedding fatiha between malama Ruqaya Sulaiman and the Magajin Gari
The felicitation was contained in a statement issued by Yabagi Umar the administrator’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity in Lokoja on Friday
Yabagi, stated that “Hon Shiru joins friends, family in celebrating with the Khalifa on this auspices day”
The Administrator noted with delight that Khalifa had been graced with numerous outstanding contributions towards the development of Cantonment in particular and Lokoja .
Lawal added that the Magajin Gari had over the years brought pride to his late sheik Shuiabu Kenchi family by taking the the heavy burden left behind by the late Islamic cleric
He, therefore, commended him for not only bringing joy to many hearts and homes through his preaching, but for serving as an inspiration and a mentor to upcoming generation
The administrator saluted “khalifa Kenchi’s love for humanity, especially the less privileged, by maintaining the legacy left behind by his late father,especially his concerns for the needs of others.’’
He prayed that almighty Allah would grant “magajin Gari and his new wife,Ruqaya longer life, good health and more strength.”
