Senator Oseni, Rep Halims, Hon Abdulwakil Mourns Demise of Gov. Bello’s Aide

The Senator representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Yakubu Oseni has described the sudden death of Governor Yahaya Bello’s Personal Assistant, Abdullateef Suleiman as a rude shock.

Senator Oseni in a condolence message said though death is the eventual end of all mortals, it is painful to cope with the fact that the young and hardworking man had to depart from this world with lots of dreams unfulfilled.

“Almighty Allah is the ultimate owner of life and His deeds are unquestionable,” he said.

While praying God should give the immediate family and his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, the lawmaker described the deceased as a complete gentleman who has been committed to his line of duty.

“May Allah forgive his shortcomings and grant him jannat firdaus,” he prayed.

In his condolence, member representing Ankpa Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, described the late Personal Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State, as an “exceptional gentleman who was extremely good yet extremely humble.”

Halims said Lateef’s shocking death was a great loss to his family, Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and the people of the state given the fact that he was one of the Governor’s most promising staff and a very close aide too.

Rep Halims, whose condolence message was conveyed in a statement on Wednesday, recalled with grief how calm, collected and dedicated the quadgerain had displayed to be, during his engagements with the Governor.

“I have met the very promising young man. I remember the last time Kogi National Assembly members visited the Governor on a condolence, throughout that period, he served as a consoling stooge at the beck and call of the Governor. He proved to be an exceptional gentleman who was extremely good yet extremely humble. His death is a shock, a loss not only to his family and the Governor but also to the people of the State. I condole with His Excellency, the Governor, his immediate family, all his colleagues in the government and the people of Kogi State. May Allah admit him into aljanna, give all mourners the fortitude to bear this loss and make his surviving family, especially his orphaned children, not to ever lack in support and fulfilling their aspirations in life,” Halims said.

In the same vein, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Security Matters in charge of Yagba East LGA, Hon. Abdulwakil Olorunjuwon Sule, commiserated with Governor Bello over the sudden death of his close aide.

The Council boss said Abdulateef’s death is a great loss to his wife, kids, family members and Kogi State.

He said it is sad and unfortunate that Hon. Abdulateef left while in his prime.

Sule prayed God to grant his family fortitude to bear the irreparable and irreplaceable loss and that God forgive him his shortcomings when he was alive,  accept his soul and grant him aljannatil fridous.

The late Abdulateef died in Abuja on Wednesday at the age of 41.
