Senator Oseni Receives Adavi Joint Community Development Associations’ Award

Impressed by his impeccable and uncommon achievements at the National Assembly in the last two years, Adavi Joint Community Development Association has conferred on Senator Yakubu Oseni an award for outstanding legislation.

The Kogi Central Senator and chairman, Senate Committee on Information and Communication Technology/Cybercrime was today bestowed with the honour at the Adavi Local Government Secretariat amidst ceaseless proclamations of his purpose-driven and human focused legislative activities since inauguration as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Alhaji Oseni Aliyu who led the joint association in the area noted that keen attention has been given to the lawmaker’s effort to ameliorate the sufferings of his constituents through youths and women empowerment scheme, vocational training, ICT and other entrepreneurial engagements that came with start up capital to beneficiaries.

Alhaji Aliyu further stressed that Kogi Central has never had it better than the reign of Senator Oseni whose legislative compass has continually been directed towards facilitating employment opportunities to the youths across his constituency.

“Kogi Central Senatorial District found its voice again at the National Assembly with the charismatic leadership of Senator Yakubu Oseni and thus manifested in relevant motions and bills he has sponsored at the Red Chamber. We believe that a true leader like Senator Oseni deserves all the honours and awards he could garner from his people.

“Therefore, it is in special recognition and gratitude for his exemplary representation in National Assembly and dogged fight for true development of Kogi Central that we deemed it imperative to honour him as a token of our appreciation” he explained.

The visibly elated lawmaker who thanked the Association for the honour said it is only incumbent on him to do the bidding of his constituents at the National Assembly especially as contained in his manifesto during electioneering campaigns that ushered him in as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He equally reiterated his resolve to deepen his service to the people by faciliting more dividends of democracy to them.
