Senator representing Kogi Central, Engr. Abubakar Ohere has promised to deliver adequate representation and ensure human development in the state for rapid development.
Engr. Ohere stated this today after being inaugurated at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly, Abuja.
He said: “The essence of government is to bring positive development to the people and to ensure human development. I have repeatedly stated this on different occasions and by the grace of God this is how we are going to be carrying out our duties to the people.
“l will not forget anybody and I will not forget you in view of the role you have all played. What you have all done to ensure my success was so glaring and nobody can dispute it.
“Some of you left your businesses and jobs then came back home for the election, some of you didn’t go back until when the announcement was concluded.
“I appreciate all the individuals, support groups and associations for your massive support. I urged you all not to hesitate to come forward with useful advice and suggestions that would move us forward.
“By the grace of God, I pledge to run an all-inclusive purposeful leadership, I also appealed for support from all and sundry to enable me bring the desired and needed development to Kogi Central.”
