The Senator representing Kogi central senatorial district, Senator Ahmed Ogembe has expressed shock on the assassination of Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar, the Chairman of Kogi Chapter of Wuro Miyetti-Allah Association.
Speaking in a press statement through his media Assistant, Adetayo Opeyemi Duke, Senator Ogembe condemned the act and called on the State Government and security agencies to bring the perpetrators of the heinous act to book.
Senator Ogembe described Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar as humble and peace loving man who was contributing to the socio economic development of our State.
He extends his condolences to the family of the deceased and the entire Fulanis resident in the state. The Senator pray that God will give them the fortitude to bear the loss.
He enjoined the Fulanis to be calm in the wake of the unfortunate crime and discouraged them from taking any step of retaliation.
The Senator prayed to Almighty Allah to grant Alhaji Ibrahim Abubakar Al-Jannah Firdaus.
