A group, Constituents With Integrity (CWI), says contrary to INEC’s guideline, its recent investigation into the group, Kogi Central Political Frontier leading the recall process of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, showed the group is not registered under the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

According to a statement signed by Abdulaziz Mariam, this revelation has further proven that the group was never in existence.

“It was allegedly formed hurriedly by the Kogi state government and their agents for the purpose of recalling Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan.

“In a letter dated 27th March, CAC noted that the name, Kogi Central Political Frontier, is not available on their record as an entity registered with the commission.

“Recall the group led by Charity Ijese Omole, a Special Adviser (Youth and Women Affairs) to Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi, on Monday, March 24, submitted the petition purportedly signed by 250, 000 constituents from Kogi Senatorial District to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the recall of Senator Natasha,” the statement added.
