No fewer than 3,000 Kogi students in tertiary institution across the country are billed to benefit from President Tinubu Education support bursary award facilitated by Senator Sunday Karimi Foundation who represents Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
Senator Karimi gave the hints on Thursday in Lokoja, Kogi state capital.
He said, 1,390 students from Kogi West, 1,000 for Kogi East, while 610 from Central senatorial district of the state would benefits from the president’s largesse.
According to him, the bursary empowerment, was facilitated by his foundation and covers a year scholarship for tuition for the Kogi students.
He added that each selected student would coast home with N100,000, hinting that the commencement date for application for the bursary starts from August 1 to August 31, 2025. urging students to visit sundaykarimi.org website for registration.
Recall that a similar bursary award by Sen. Karimi for 1,000 tertiary institutions students was paid to by the foundation last year, where the Senator expanded it to N100m to 1,000 students.
