Senator Karimi Condemns Suku/Osomule/Offere Attack, Demands FG Intervention

Senator Sunday Karimi has strongly condemned the recent attack on the citizens of Suku/Osomule/Offere in Bunu, Kabba-Bunu LGA of Kogi state by suspected bandits.

The lawmaker lamented that the frequent attacks is worrisome and highly condemnable as communities in Kogi West are no longer safe.

Senator Karimi called on the federal government for immediate intervention, urging President Bola Tinubu and all security agencies to ensure a formidable security apparatus including efficient backup response to tackle insecurity in Kabba-Bunu LGA.

He, however, commended the state government for its commitment and support to the joint operations in the state. He assured citizens, particularly in Kogi West, of continuous collaborative and coordinated efforts.

He promised that insecurity will soon be a thing of the past.

The lawmaker further sympathised with the family of Mr Gabriel Alehile who lost his life during the brutal attack and the people of Osomule Community and the entire Kabba – Bunu LGA.

He called on the citizens and residents to collaborate with government and relevant security agencies in intelligence gathering and dissemination as a major support needed to fight insecurity.
