Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has expressed deep concern over the plight of flood ravaged victims in the area with an assurance of succour to ameliorate their plight.
Senator Aidoko gave the assurance while interacting with news men in his office.
He stated that efforts are already at advance stages to address the recurring incidences of flood in the riverine areas of Kogi East.
Aidoko assured the people of Kogi East that feasibility studies has already been completed by the ecological office and NEMA aimed at finding lasting solutions and provision of relief items to mitigate the effects of the natural disaster.
He urged multinationals with business interest in the area not to ignore the predicament of the people ravaged by flooding.
