“It is a history as first female SUG president the state varsity has produced, more important that office is occupied by an indigene of Ankpa local government council.”

In his remarks, Abagwu commended the SUG president, saying that their presence is truly felt, especially for the record she set in the Kogi State University being as the first female president.

He also made it known to them that the government of the day is a women friendly government, urging the student union to take chances by correcting wrongs to right and turn the faces of the university in good conduct and moral standard.

He, however said “as a student union president, it’s a great chance for them to enlighten students to desist from any unholy acts capable of causing mayhem, that is, any crime related activities, it will  serve as weakness in many institutions of higher learning,” he said.
