Security and Youth Empowerment; Okene Administrator Bags Another Award

It was another glorious moment for the Administrator of Okene local government, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad and his team as the peoples chairman was honoured with a prestigious award of excellence for his developmental strides in Okene, especially in the areas of security, youth empowerment and education.

Ebira Youth Consultative Forum (EYCF) at their annual general conference held on 24th October, 2017 in Kano adjudged the workaholic Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad as the best Administrator on youth empowerment, education and security matters.

According to the forum secretary, Comrade Admams Muhammad Achawu, Engr. Abdulrazaq is a blessing to the people of Ebiraland. He thanked the governor for appointing him to lead Okene local government at this material time. He said the award was in recognition of his numerous achievements since his assumption of office.

The forum scribe explained further that Okene local government under the unique leadership of Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad gave out scholarship to over 450 indigents youths to be trained in different segment of Information Communication Technology (ICT).

According to him, the youth shared in the vision of Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad to create the next generation of ICT gurus that will sharpen and drive the science and technology industry.

During the period under review, Okene local government Administrator also paid the WAEC/NECO fees of 54 less privileged students to enable them complete their O’level education. These students are our youths who are future leaders of the society, therefore, their education is a top priority to the government of Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad.

Okene local government Administrator, with the support of the state government changed the security situation of the area. He has been able to secure an enabling environment for their operation, provides material and logistics support as well as device various methods that has reduce crime and criminalities in the local government. Generally, there’s now relative peace in Okene local government which was lacking prior to his appointment.

Engr. Abdulrazaq’s leadership style is unique, which of course has brought to peace and development of the area where people now go about their normal businesses without fear of being harassed, robbed or killed.

The National president of Okengwe Development Association (ODA), Alh. A. A Garba presented the award on behalf of the forum.
