The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has assured the people of Kogi state of the party’s readiness to make the state self sustaining.
In a press statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Monday, the Acting Chairman, Kogi state SDP, Alhaji Mouktar Atimah stated that SDP has a workable manifesto that is tandem with the yearnings and expectations of the people.
He expressed confidence that SDP will produce a ‘special candidate’ that will win the November 16 governorship election in the state.
Atimah said the feedback from the party’s ongoing sensitization and mobilization across the state is overwhelming with a growing desire for a party with different ideology and leaders.
He assured Kogi electorate that SDP will give the people a breathe of fresh air by creating new opportunities for all and ensuring shared prosperity.
The party chief noted that SDP governorship candidate will emerge through a free, fair and transparent primary elections.
He called on patriotic citizens of the state to embrace SDP for a better Kogi state.
