Former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, has commiserated with the Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Dr. Tijanni Mohammad Anaje, over the passage of a community leader, Alh Salihu Oziogu.
Saraki who was in Okene on Tuesday for the fidau prayer of one his aides, Alhaji Ismaila Asuku Salihu, noted that the loss of a parent is a profound and enduring sorrow.
The former Governor of Kwara State, who recently lost his mother, prayed that Allah grants late Pa Salihu Oziogu a place amongst the righteous ones in Al Jannah Firdaus and give the family that he left behind the strength and comfort that they need at this difficult time.
Speaking on his father’s passage, Alhaji Ismaila Asuku said he cannot be sad at this moment rather be grateful to Allah for a life well spent.
“You have lived a fulfilled life and trained us your children to the level your strength and exposure can take. We pray that you to gain Allah’s favors in your grave, Ameen,” he said.
