A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and aspirant for the Kogi State House of Assembly, Michael Samuel Idoko, has officially validated his membership as the party’s ongoing e-registration exercise gathers momentum across the country.

Idoko, who is vying to represent Olamaboro Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, described the e-registration process as a significant step toward strengthening internal democracy, transparency, and grassroots mobilization within the PDP.

Speaking shortly after completing his registration, he reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty to the party, noting that his decision to formally validate his membership underscores his commitment to its vision and leadership.

“Today, I have taken a bold step to reaffirm my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party through the ongoing e-registration process. This is not just a formality, but a demonstration of my belief in the PDP as a platform for true democratic governance and people-oriented leadership,” Idoko stated.

The Olamaboro Assembly hopeful emphasized that the PDP remains a beacon of hope for Nigerians, particularly at a time when many citizens are seeking credible alternatives in the nation’s political landscape.

“The PDP remains the strongest opposition party in Nigeria today. It is a party with structure, history, and the capacity to reposition our country for growth and development. Nigerians must rally around this platform if we are to achieve the change we desire,” he added.

Idoko further highlighted his leadership vision, pledging to prioritize the welfare of his constituents and champion policies that would drive development in Olamaboro if elected into office.

“My aspiration is rooted in service. I am committed to providing quality representation, empowering our people, and ensuring that the voices of Olamaboro constituents are heard at the state level,” he said.

He also used the opportunity to call on youths and party faithful to take advantage of the e-registration exercise to formally identify with the PDP, stressing that active participation is key to building a formidable political structure.

“I urge all Nigerians, especially the youth, to register and become active members of the PDP. The future of our democracy depends on our collective involvement. Together, we can rebuild trust, strengthen our institutions, and move Nigeria forward,” Idoko urged.

The PDP’s e-registration initiative is part of broader efforts by the party to modernize its membership database and enhance participation ahead of future electoral activities.
