Salisu Ogu Leads Defunct CPC Scribe, Buba Galadima, Others To Condole Late Nuhu Audu’s Family

The Kogi state commissioner for transportation, Prince Sani Ogu Salisu on Sunday led the former national secretary of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Engr Buba Galadima and other stalwarts on a condolence visit to the family of late Alhaji Nuhu Audu in his family house at Idah.

While paying tribute to the deceased academician cum selfless nationalist, Galadima extolled the deceased icon as he reflected on the good relationship he had with the late Nuhu Audu. He charged the younger generation to emulate his life style saying his demise is an irreplaceable loss to the nation.

While speaking, the commissioner pointed out that the deceased was an elder statesman and mentor in all ramification stressing that the Igala nation, Kogi state and Nigeria in general has lost a gem in him.

On her path, Hadiza Nuhu Audu, who gave vote of thanks on behalf of the deceased family, expressed her delight at how guests have been trooping in pointing that the act itself is enough solace that their father is resting in high heavens and wished them journey mercies.

It will be recalled that the young but triumphing commissioner for transportation was the Kogi state pioneer Youth Leader and Chairman of the nineteen northern states Youth Leaders Forum of the defunct CPC while Galadima was serving as the National Secretary with President Muhammadu Buhari as the national leader of the party.

Also in the accompanying entourage was Hon. Halimatu Amodu, the Special Adviser to the Kogi state Governor on Civil Service, Labour and Pension Matters; Comrade Sunday Ali, State Deputy Chairman of National Youth Council of Nigeria alongside other state executives from the eastern flank who were on a solidarity visit to the young Prince.

Others were the Idah chapter coordinator, Comrade Destiny Keller and distinguished youths from the area.
