Royal Father Commends Action Alliance Gov’ship Candidate’s Support for Flood Victims

Ohimegye Igu of Koton Karfe, Alh. Abduldasaq Isah-Koto, has commended the governorship candidate of Action Alliance (AA), Mr Olayinka Braimoh for his support for victims of flood in Kogi State, a move he described as a sign of his compassion.

The royal father noted that he was aware that the AA candidate has been extending his philanthropic gesture to victims of flood in Koton Karfe and other parts of the state long before nursing the ambition to become the governor of the state. 

He further stated that his regular donations and support to people in crisis was an affirmation of the fact that he cares for ordinary people at the grassroots and will surely raise their standard of living when he becomes the State Governor. The Ohimegye fervently prayed for Braimoh and admonished the supporters of AA to go about their political activities peacefully. 

Also speaking during the reception, the youth leader of AA in Kogi LGA, Alh Muhammed Sagir and the women leader, Hajia Sumaiya Koto made pledges to work for Braimoh’s success, not only in the local government area but in the entire Kogi State by mobilising youth and women to vote for him.

In his response, Braimoh expressed his appreciation to the traditional ruler and the entire people of Koton Karfe for their unalloyed support. 

He further explained his wealth creation, distribution and retention plan which he said will surely give Kogi State the needed financial stamina to become financially bouyant. He promised that Usi Kwo-Kwo cave in Koton Karfe will be among the tourism centres to be developed when he becomes the Governor of the State.
