Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi West senatorial district, Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi has expressed confidence in the competence and capacity of the newly appointed Managing Director of Lower River Basin Development Authority (Kogi and Kwara), Engr. Olushola George Olumoroti.
Speaking with Kogi Reports on Friday, Otunba Olayemi thanked President Bola Tinubu for appointing Engr. Olumoroti and other patriots in the renewed commitment to make the river basin development authorities more efficient.
He congratulated Engr Olumoroti, describing the appointment as a result of his commitment and dedication to the ruling party and administration.
Otunba Olayemi said confidently that Engr Olumoroti will make President Tinubu proud given his antecedents.
He noted that Engr. Olumoroti has continued to maintain high level of integrity and resilience in public, adding that the new appointment will further give him the opportunity to contribute to the overall development of the zone through the development authority as Managing Director.
He urged him to see the opportunity as a call to service and also to justify the confidence reposed in him by President Bola Tinubu and Hon. James Faleke, who facilitated the well deserved recognition.
