A seasoned unionist and retired senior manager with Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Plc, Comrade Segun Momoh, has thrown his hat into the ring for the House of Assembly seat in Okehi Constituency, Kogi State, under the banner of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Momoh made the announcement during a visit to the Ikeuhi ward, expressing his desire to serve the people of Okehi through better legislation and people-oriented programs.
“I want to bring a new style of governance where the people will feel the impact of their representatives,” he said.
With over 25 years of experience in the electricity sector and a strong background in union activities, Momoh believes he is ready to make a difference.
He has served as Secretary of the National Union of Electricity Employees (NUEE) Kogi State and Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory chapter for three consecutive terms.
The ward spokesperson, Hon Sumaila, responded that the party will provide a level playing field for all contestants. The election is set for 2027.
